Lost in Space!

Groupexhibition @ NP3
This pair of stereoscopic pictures was presented in a classic 3d-viewmaster which was hung on the same spot as the fotographers point of view. They were shot during the previous exhibition called ‘Kleef je Uit’.
To view this picture in 3d with your naked eyes, follow the instructions below:
- The goal is to make these two images overlap, becoming one 3d-image.
- What you need is some control over your eye-muscles and some patience.
- The eye-distance from the screen must be 30 to 50 centimeters.
- Focus on the central regon where the two images toutch each other.
- Change to a cross-eyed look by contracting / relaxing the eye-muscles.
- Allow your vision to become blurry and unstable.
- Try to see three (blurry) images in a row, in stead of two.
- Keep trying until all three become fixed in a straight line.
- Focus on the central image by carefully exploring it.
- A sharp 3d experience will be quite sudden.
